In this role, you will supervise the loading and blasting procedures while ensuring safety at all times. Proficiently managing underground equipment and mentoring less experienced crew members will be key aspects of your job. Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain longhole loading equipment safely
• Clean and load longhole stopes daily
• Log and manage timing for blasts
• Install and service underground piping systems
• Provide guidance to junior crew members
Requirements:
• High School Diploma necessary
• Eight years of mining experience required
• Experience as a Longhole Leader for three years
• Basic Underground Common Core training preferred
• Training in fall arrest and lifting mechanisms
