Become a part time Casual Specialized Support Worker with Strive Living Society in Richmond. This role focuses on aiding neurodiverse youth in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their daily lives.
You will work closely with children and youth facing challenges such as Autism and mental health issues in a structured support setting. With a commitment to personalized care, you will help implement behavior plans and foster solid relationships with those you assist to ensure comprehensive behavioral support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver one-on-one support tailored to individual needs
• Implement and monitor safety plans and behavior strategies
• Document progress through reports and logs
• Assist with household tasks and life skills training
• Participate in team meetings and program development
Requirements:
• Clean Class 5 BC Driver's License mandatory
• At least 1 year of relevant care experience
• Criminal Record Clearance and First Aid Certificate needed
• Knowledge of community resources beneficial
• Effective verbal and written communication skills required
