In this senior role, you'll report to the Chief Mine Engineer, providing crucial leadership for mid-range and short-term planning. Your expertise in resource estimation and mining methodologies will guide the development of the underground mine, ensuring production targets are met. Collaborating closely with various departments, you will manage critical processes that contribute to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee generation of annual business plans and forecasts
• Develop rolling plans and manage mining block designs
• Ensure compliance with safety practices and contribute to the organizational culture




• Supervise generation of drilling and blast packages
• Analyze and present mining KPI trend data to improve performance
Requirements:
• Minimum 6 years of relevant mining experience
• B.Sc in Mining Engineering and eligibility for P.Eng.
• Expertise in advanced mining software, particularly Deswik
• Robust leadership and problem-solving capabilities
• Ontario Underground certification is an asset
