Join North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services as a Timmins-based Clinician, specializing in child and youth mental health. This full time position focuses on providing essential therapy and support to youth and their families.
In your role as a Registered Clinician, you will be responsible for delivering psychotherapy and counseling, while conducting clinical assessments to address behavioral, social, and emotional needs in children up to age 18. Collaboration with a diverse team of professionals is crucial as you aim to provide top-tier mental health support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individualized psychotherapy and counseling sessions
• Assess behavioral and emotional needs of children and families
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for integrated care
• Innovate treatment approaches for youth mental health
• Ensure compliance with Ontario College registration requirements
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in a related field is preferred
• Eligible for registration with Ontario qualified colleges
• Bilingual in English and French is mandatory
• Possession of G2 driver’s license; G Class preferred
• Robust interpersonal and organizational abilities
