In this temporary position, your responsibilities include caring for patients with complex respiratory conditions. You'll engage in team-oriented assessments and participate in necessary healthcare projects. Your leadership in preceptorship for recent nurses is invaluable to building a robust healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care for patients with respiratory conditions
• Collaborate effectively with respiratory therapists
• Assess and plan care with team members




• Document patient care using computerized systems
• Serve as a preceptor for nursing students
Requirements:
• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BCLS certification desirable within 3 months
• Two years of medical/surgical nursing experience preferred
• Experience with ventilators, tracheostomies, and feeding tubes
• Solid problem-solving and communication skills
