CancerCare Manitoba is looking for an Oncology Registered Nurse II to support patients through their cancer journey in Winnipeg. This role combines nursing expertise with compassionate patient care.
As an Oncology Nurse, you will operate under the supervision of the Patient Services Manager, providing critical nursing services to patients receiving various cancer treatments. Your focus will be on assessing patient needs and delivering tailored interventions while championing a cooperative team atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individualized nursing assessments and interventions
• Manage treatment protocols and patient care plans
• Offer psychosocial support to patients and families
• Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary healthcare framework
Requirements:
• Current CRNM registration in Manitoba
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Proficient communication and organization skills
• Background in oncology care is preferred
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
