Lead impactful mentoring initiatives with Big Brothers Big Sisters in Centre Wellington. This role focuses on comprehensive youth engagement, ensuring robust relationships and program quality across various mentoring formats.
As the Manager of Youth Mentoring Services, you will be responsible for overseeing Community-Based, In-School, and Group Mentoring programs. Utilizing your expertise in child development and trauma-informed processes, you will assess youth and volunteer suitability, and support ongoing mentoring relationships. Your leadership will directly enhance the effectiveness and standards of BBBS Canada programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate various mentoring programs to ensure quality
• Facilitate youth workshops and group activities
• Monitor program outcomes for continuous improvement
• Support families with community resources and information
• Recruit and engage mentors to sustain programs
Requirements:
• Master of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university
• 2 years' experience with children, youth, and families
• Excellent case management and relationship skills
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices
• Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable vehicle
