Join Haven Toronto as a Registered Practical Nurse in the Hospital Overflow Program, offering full time or part time overnight shifts. Provide essential nursing care and support to clients in a protected workplace.
This position is time-limited until September 30, 2026, and requires working from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. You’ll play a vital role in assessing and addressing client needs, developing rapport, and implementing care plans. Collaborate with inter-skilled teams while advocating for clients from diverse backgrounds within a welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct clinical assessments and provide nursing care
• Orient clients to medical services and ensure safety
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with MDs
• Address foot care,



wound care, and mental health support
• Maintain accurate documentation per regulatory standards
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with RPN License
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Experience in mental health and addiction issues
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in various client situations
