We are looking for a committed Loader Operator to contribute to our night shift operations at our glass manufacturing plant. In this role, you will manage load lists to gather and scan glass for loading onto trucks. Your responsibilities include securing shipments, ensuring measurements are accurate, and rejecting poor-quality loads.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather glass based on load lists for shipping
• Secure glass loads using appropriate materials
• Load glass onto trucks manually or with a crane
• Measure glass accurately and verify tags
• Reject substandard shipments before dispatch
Requirements:
• Experience in shipping and receiving processes
• Capability to lift heavy items (50lbs+ with team support)
• Proficiency in reading shipping documentation
• Familiarity with loading trailers specifically with glass
• Forklift operation proficiency is advantageous
