Responsibilities
Read and translate blueprints, drawings and illustrations to determine specifications and calculate demands.
Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using gauging tools.
Measure, cut, form, assemble and join materials constructed from timber, wood replacements, lightweight steel and other materials.
Construct structures, install floor beams,



lay subflooring and erect walls and roofing systems.
Work settings include commercial, industrial and institutional projects.

Qualifications
No degree, certificate or diploma required.
Experience: None required.
Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat.
Physical abilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, standing, walking; capable of performing physical tasks in a construction environment.
