Role Overview

Café Kitsuné is looking for enthusiastic and experienced baristas to join our team. We love flexibility in experience, someone who is knowledgeable about coffee and can make a beautiful cappuccino, but who also can handle a busy floor and speak to natural wine.

Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
Dial in espresso and other brew methods to meet and maintain quality standards.
Maintain work area and equipment to a high degree of cleanliness.
Support in daily food preparation, inventory counts and cleaning duties when needed.
Exhibit a familiarity with daily menus, participate in service/culinary & wine/coffee education sessions to remain current/knowledgeable about our products.
Food Safety One certification is preferred.

Additional Note

Server experience is a plus.

Requirements
Valid work visa in Canada required.
Barista experience of more than 6 months.
The desire to teach, learn and grow and be part of a cohesive and cooperative team.
The ability to work well under pressure.
Receptive to constructive criticism and performance feedback.
Must be able to lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Able to work in a standing/walking position for long periods of time.
