We are hiring two Utility Operator 3s, seeking self-motivated candidates to ensure protected operations for water and wastewater systems. Reporting to the Manager of Utilities, you will manage installations, operations, and the maintenance of essential municipal services. Strongly valued are your skills in SCADA, water treatment, and effective coordination of utility processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee water pump stations and treatment facility tasks
• Manage SCADA systems and flood pump operations
• Take bacteriological samples and manage chlorine residuals




• Review sewer inspection videos and service sewer pumps
• Conduct meter reading and assist in other duties as required
Requirements:
• Grade 12 completion; relevant certifications required
• Proficiency in utility-related computer programs
• Ability to work alone safely and efficiently
• Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's License needed
• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks
