Reporting to the Senior Employment Counsel in Australia, this role requires extensive knowledge in Canadian employment and labour law, particularly in British Columbia. You will operate in a hands-on capacity, advising on recruitment, performance management, and disputes, while also handling cross-border employment matters and commercial contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on the full employment lifecycle at IREN




• Provide risk-based employment law guidance
• Draft and manage HR-related documentation
• Oversee employment complaints and litigation
• Collaborate with HR on compliance matters
Requirements:
• Qualified to practice law in Canada
• At least 8 years of employment law experience
• Solid knowledge of federal and provincial laws
• Experience with commercial contract negotiations
