About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice-President, Finance & Administration to serve as its chief administrative officer and a key member of the senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic oversight of a broad portfolio, including finance, facilities and campus planning, information technology services, information security, safety and risk services, and campus services.



This role is pivotal in ensuring the company's operational capabilities effectively support its academic and research mission, with a focus on financial stewardship, capital planning, infrastructure renewal, digital transformation, and administrative modernization.

The ideal candidate for the Vice-President, Finance & Administration position at the company is a strategic and values-driven executive with senior leadership experience in large, complex, multi-stakeholder settings. They should have a solid background in financial and operational expertise, a proven track record of leading organizational transformation, and the ability to foster high-performing teams and build trusted relationships. The role requires an effective communicator and consensus-builder, adept at navigating complex governance structures and advancing institutional goals through inclusive and consultative leadership. An accounting designation or related financial credentials are strongly preferred, and the candidate should be adept at managing competing priorities and advancing institutional goals.
