About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President for Treasury and Capital Markets to take on a pivotal role in leading a broad treasury and financing mandate. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic capital initiatives, managing fund liquidity, and overseeing various financial relationships and programs. This includes tasks such as capital structuring, current financial product development, and evaluating new lending and investment opportunities. The role demands a skilled with a strong background in banking or financial services, particularly in treasury, fund finance, or structured credit, and a preference for those with experience in private debt, mortgage investment, or alternative asset management.





Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for additional qualified designations such as CFA, CPA, or MBA. The role requires a minimum of 10 years' experience, with a proven track record in managing credit facilities and banking relationships. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of structured debt products and be familiar with the Canadian regulatory setting for mortgage investment and lending entities. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to present to senior executives and boards. The Vice President will be instrumental in shaping the company's funding and capital strategy, driving initiatives to enhance returns, and contributing to the growth and evolution of the organization.
