In this federal relations position, the Major Projects Coordinator supports Musqueam's title and rights through effective negotiation and project management. You'll play a key role in liaising with regulatory bodies and oversee complex projects, focusing on communication and collaboration to meet community needs. This role also assists in developing reports and analyzing incoming project referrals while ensuring Musqueam’s interests are prioritized.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate consultation and accommodation processes
• Prepare correspondence for management and leadership
• Manage project scopes and timelines for IGA projects
• Coordinate community engagement and consultant work
• Train and oversee project analysts and students
Requirements:
• Degree in Political Science or related field
• Minimum three years’ relevant experience
• Knowledge of impact assessment processes
• Solid analytical and communication skills
• Understanding of Indigenous politics and law
