12-Month Contract (High Likelihood of Extension)

$65-$75/hr Incorporated | $53-$61/hr T4 TERM

TEEMA is currently supporting BC Hydro in the search for a Construction Technologist to join their team in Nanaimo.

This is an excellent prospect for someone with a construction, utility, or trades background who enjoys coordinating projects from planning through execution. You'll play a key role supporting estimating, scheduling, procurement, field coordination, contractor management, and construction activities across a variety of capital projects.

What You'll Bring

5+ years of construction and/or project management experience (field or office)

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management,



Project Management, Forestry, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or related field OR a trades qualification such as:
Electrician
Millwright
Power Line Technician
Winder
General Trades 1

Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and access to a personal vehicle

Utility, industrial, heavy civil, generation, transmission or substation construction experience is considered an asset.
Nanaimo-based position with site visits across BC
Chance for a hybrid schedule (2 days/week from home) after 6 months
