This role requires a dedicated nurse to work closely with patients across medical, surgical, and palliative care settings. Our surgical unit features a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, offering personalized attention in a 36-bed facility, including palliative care suites. Your effective time management, prioritization skills, and team-oriented spirit will be essential to deliver top-tier healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize nursing processes for patient assessment and care
• Implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Supervise health care team members on patient needs




• Maintain comprehensive nursing records and documentation
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Programs for patient care
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses
• Minimum 6 months nursing experience in a medical/surgical unit
• Certification in BCLS/CPR or enrolled in a recertification course
• Ability to manage a physically demanding workload
• Satisfactory Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check
