Take charge as the Family Supports Manager at VNFC, shaping strategies for Indigenous family empowerment. Lead a dedicated team to ensure quality support services.
In this role, you'll oversee the Family Support Teams, ensuring cohesive integration of services for Indigenous families in the community. You will facilitate case management, maintain funding compliance, and lead staff training sessions for effective program delivery. Your strategic insight will enhance the capacity of team members while fostering community relations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise Family Support Teams and ensure program effectiveness
• Conduct case reviews and manage caseload assignments
• Ensure compliance with reporting requirements
• Facilitate team development and training initiatives
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical support standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related discipline
• Minimum two years in leadership within social services
• Experience with Indigenous communities and cultures
• Knowledge of Child, Family, and Community Services Act
• Valid driver's license and criminal record check
