This part-time role at Grey Nuns Community Hospital requires a graduate of an RN or RPN program with active registration. Ideal candidates will have recent psychiatric experience, solid assessment skills, and knowledge of psychotropic medications. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care, advocate for patients, and facilitate education and discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct nursing assessments of patients in urgent care
• Implement prescribed treatments and evaluate patient responses




• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for care coordination
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans
• Act as charge nurse when required
Requirements:
• Active CRPNA/CRNA registration required
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification needed
• Recent psychiatric experience in inpatient or outpatient settings
• Robust knowledge of mental health assessment tools
• Experience in a high-volume emergency department preferred
