Our flexible and inclusive work culture provides you with the autonomy, resources, and opportunities to succeed.Position DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst (Private Markets) who can deliver on strategic priorities, collaborate deeply with stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of high value data products.ResponsibilitiesLead sessions with business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify needs, and secure signoffProduce and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Source-to-Target Mapping documents (STM), and all data analysis documentationWork closely with private markets stakeholders to capture data requirements related to securities, holdings, transactions, trading cycles, and general capital markets lifecycle dataPerform data analysis, profiling, data quality checks, and metadata capture across investment datasetsCollaborate with Data Modelers to validate mappings, support model development, and ensure completeness of the data assetLiaise across teams to align on requirements, dependencies, and delivery expectationsLead UAT planning and facilitation with business teams, ensuring all scenarios are validated and approvedValidate data work using SQL and data warehouse concepts such as dimensions, facts,



and lineageSupport Agile practices including story creation, prioritization, backlog grooming, and standups as requiredWorkplaceIdeally located near Toronto for a hybrid schedule. Remote within Canada may be considered for strong candidates.Must Have Skills7–10 years of Data Analyst experience, ideally in wealth, investments, institutional, or general accounts domainsStrong domain expertise in private markets, including securities, holdings, transactions, trading cycles, and understanding of public vs. private marketsExperience with datacentric projects such as MDM, data integration, data warehousing, reporting, and analyticsStrong SQL skills for deep data validation and investigationAbility to create BRDs, STMs, and documentation in complex environments under deadlinesSolid understanding of data warehouse concepts and data modeling fundamentals.Preferred SkillsExperience with trading platforms or investment systems such as SimCorp, Bloomberg/Polar Lake, Eagle, Charles River, or similarExposure to Azure or DatabricksProfessional SkillsSolid written, verbal, and presentation communication skillsStrong team and individual playerMaintains composure during all types of situations and is collaborative by natureHigh standards of professionalism, consistently producing high quality resultsSelf-sufficient, independent requiring very little supervision or interventionDemonstrate flexibility and openness to bring creative solutions to address issuesEqual Opportunity EmployerCanadian citizens and those authorized to work in Canada are encouraged to apply.Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
