Georgian College YMCA is seeking a dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator for a full-time role. This position involves caring for children in a group setting, ensuring their safety, and implementing comprehensive play-based learning strategies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate robust communication skills with families while supporting all children's diverse needs, including those with exceptional behaviors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care including first aid and medication administration
• Ensure safety and supervision in a group of up to 15 children




• Plan and implement play-based learning activities
• Communicate professionally with families and staff
• Create an inclusive environment for every child
Requirements:
• Registered Early Childhood Educator in good standing with CECE
• ECE Diploma or enrollment in Early Childhood Education program
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to lift 20 kg and work outdoors
