As a Corporate Accountant, you will partner with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and drive continuous improvements. The role involves preparing financial statements, leading close processes, and developing insightful internal reports. Additionally, you will manage intercompany reconciliations and assist with budgeting while enhancing internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements adhering to GAAP
• Lead month-end and year-end closure processes accurately
• Develop variance analyses and financial insights for leadership
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances effectively
• Support internal audits and prepare necessary documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3 years of experience in corporate accounting
• Solid knowledge of Canadian and U.S. GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis
• Experience with intercompany accounting processes
