Shape the future of rail systems as a Signalling Engineer with WSP. This role focuses on developing cutting-edge signaling solutions for rail transit across Canada.
In this key technical role, you will work closely with the Rail & Transit team at WSP, reporting to the Manager, Rail Systems Engineering. You will leverage your specialized skills in railway signaling, collaborating with project managers and engineers to deliver protected and reliable systems. Your expertise in both Communications Based Train Control and relay-based systems will be essential for ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and analyze signal systems for various rail types
• Prepare detailed technical documentation and analyses
• Conduct comprehensive checks of signaling designs
• Create signaling schemes per industry codes and standards
• Facilitate communication with clients on technical matters
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years in Railway Signaling
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MicroStation
• Solid knowledge of CROR, AREMA, and Transport Canada standards
• Experience with signaling design and system testing
