In this role, you'll report to the Director of Care as an integral part of a dedicated team. Your responsibilities include assessing client needs, crafting tailored treatment plans, and facilitating activities that promote psychosocial well-being. Leadership is essential for mentoring support staff, students, and volunteers while strictly adhering to ATRA Standards of Practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess clients' recreation and leisure needs thoroughly
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Coordinate therapeutic programs and activities effectively




• Supervise support staff and evaluate their performance
• Maintain skilled standards aligned with Carewest policies
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy or related field
• Active registration with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association
• Basic Life Support Provider CPR certification required
• At least 3 years of recreation therapy experience preferred
• Experience with diverse client populations is an asset
