The Senior Specialist will bring 10+ years of relevant energy industry experience to enhance the lifecycle planning of regulated facilities. You'll play a critical role in refining closure cost methodologies and developing standards that ensure secure and productive decommissioning practices. Collaboration with stakeholders will be key for successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop standards for facility decommissioning practices
• Identify regulatory inconsistencies in facility operations
• Improve closure cost estimation processes




• Review suspension and decommissioning activity reports
• Collaborate on energy policy initiatives with provincial authorities
Requirements:
• Degree in chemical, mechanical, petroleum or environmental engineering
• 10+ years in related operations or facility engineering
• In-depth knowledge of energy facility regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in professional settings
