Reporting to the Culinary Manager, this Cook position will see you responsible for preparing meals that cater to residents' dietary needs and preferences. Your skills in food preparation and safety protocols will be critical as you comply with provincial regulations and contribute to our quality improvement programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare meals for residents and special dietary needs
• Check food temperatures and maintain safety logs
• Follow standardized recipes and production charts




• Participate in special event meal planning
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
• Must have a Food Handler's Certificate
• Red Seal Certificate preferred
• Must possess experience in large quantity food prep
• Knowledgeable of therapeutic diets and nutrition guidelines
• Ability to lift hot items and stand most of the shift
