Become an Intensive Case Management Clinician at Duncan Wellness and Recovery Centre in Duncan, BC. This casual role focuses on harm reduction and client outreach for substance use issues.
As part of Island Health’s interdisciplinary team, you will provide assessments, interventions, and treatment consultations tailored to individuals facing substance use challenges. Your expertise will support clients and their families through harm reduction methods. Travel between multiple sites may be necessary for effective client support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and develop harm reduction strategies
• Provide outreach and recovery consultations for clients
• Engage with clients experiencing severe substance use problems




• Work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary treatment team
• Ensure adherence to Island Health's safety and quality standards
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate degree in health-related field
• Two years of experience in community mental health and substance use
• Robust knowledge of harm reduction principles
• Valid BC Driver's License required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
