Lead financial management efforts as the Regional Manager of Finance and Administration in the Department of Environment and Climate Change. This key management role focuses on overseeing financial operations and administrative functions for the Region.
Responsibilities include managing financial transactions, delivering reports, and ensuring effective human resource management, all aimed at promoting environmental stewardship. As the Regional Manager, you will provide guidance and support to program managers and the Superintendent while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial management for effective regional operations
- Deliver timely financial reporting and analysis
- Manage day-to-day financial operations effectively
- Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures
- Advise regional staff on human resource management Requirements:
- Post-secondary Diploma in finance or business
- Three years of relevant experience with one year in supervision
- Experience in public sector financial management
- Alternative qualifications considered with extensive experience Excel in financial oversight to promote sustainable use of resources in the Northwest Territories.
