Field level advisors act as a front-line resource to help execute the organization's health, safety, and environmental management system intended to protect the organization's employees, the environment, and property against harm or damage.Location: CNRL Maintenance (Fort McMurray, AB)Potential Start Date: August 2026Shift: 10/4 rotation pre-turnaround; 24 day shift during turnaroundTransportation: Flights provided from Edmonton/Calgary, ABAccommodation:



Camp providedJOB DUTIESWork under the direction of HSE leadership on multiple tasks requiring judgment to resolve problemsEnsure training and documentation systems are maintained and record all employees training and competency requirementsConduct safety inspections, observations, incident investigations, risk assessments and auditsPrepare method of statement/reportsEnsure compliance with company policies/procedures and adhere to applicable regulatory requirementsCommunicate with senior management to ensure that corrective action plans are developed and implemented in a timely mannerEnsure regular safety meetings are conducted and proper documentation is completed and logged as per company policyProvide HSE orientation to recent employees, subcontractors, and visitorsVarious other duties as requested by managementQUALIFICATIONS2+ years of experience in HSE role3 + years’ experience in industrial settingPost-secondary education in related fieldNCSO designationOH&S; certificate (preferred)Standard First AidSKILLSKnowledge in OH&S; legislation, safety management systems, and operational hazards & controls within an industrial settingStrong interpersonal and presentation skills
