As an Emergency Communications Officer, you will be the calm voice for those in crisis, processing both emergency and non-emergency calls. Your duties include gathering critical information for dispatching ambulances and making key decisions in high-pressure settings. A 20-week commitment to training is required, focusing on establishing best practices for effective emergency medical response.
Key Responsibilities:
• Take and process emergency calls with accuracy
• Dispatch services and relay necessary information promptly
• Maintain professionalism under intense pressure

• Aid in the management of dispatch operations
Requirements:
• Minimum of Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Emergency Medical Dispatch certification required
• Experience in emergency services preferred
• Commitment to a 20-week full time training schedule
• Must pass a security screening and record check
