CHARCO Security is looking for several motivated, versatile security officers who are available to work on an on-call basis and have access to a vehicle for a variety of assignments in Chibougamau.

If you are flexible, hold a valid driver's licence, have access to a vehicle at all times, possess a valid security guard licence, and live in Chibougamau, we would be pleased to receive your application.

Description of assignments:
Detainee monitoring (in partnership with the Sûreté du Québec) : Camera surveillance with no direct contact. You will alert the SQ in case of suspicious behavior. The only contact with the detainee occurs during meal delivery, through a small window in the cell door, with no physical interaction.
Corporate and commercial security : Preventive rounds, access control, customer service — tasks vary depending on the company’s needs.
Event security : Ensure the safety of participants and the site during festivals, shows, and other public events.

What we offer:
Schedule: primarily evenings and nights,



including weekends
Status : on-call , ideal for candidates who are adaptable and available

Requirements:
Valid security guard licence (required)
Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle at all times (required).
Valid first aid certification
Excellent command of French (spoken and written)
Transparent criminal record and ability to pass a thorough background check
Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for long periods (4 to 12 hours)
Ability to write detailed reports (hourly during the day, every 30 minutes at night)
Solid customer service skills
