Take the helm as the Executive Director at ISTAR, located at North Campus Edmonton in a hybrid environment. This pivotal role merges clinical leadership with organizational strategy for stuttering treatment.

Reporting to the Dean of the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, you will drive ISTAR’s mission with strategic oversight in clinical services, operational management, and community outreach. This position is ideal for a seasoned qualified who combines clinical skills with leadership.

You will shape treatment practices, enhance donor connections, and guide a dedicated clinical team across Edmonton and Calgary while contributing to ongoing research and training.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement strategic plans for clinical service improvement
Foster relationships with donors and community partners




Lead a team of speech-language pathology specialists
Oversee operational and financial management aspects
Provide direct speech therapy services to patients

Requirements:
Leadership experience in speech-language pathology is essential
Robust operational oversight capabilities
Excellent community and relationship management skills
Proven strategic planning experience
Knowledge of research and training in stuttering treatment
