As a Community Dietitian, you will be primarily focused on providing clinical nutrition services and consultations to enhance residents' well-being. You will also provide educational support to community groups and professionals, implementing strategies to improve overall nutrition status in the area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer individual and group nutrition counseling
• Develop and implement educational programs for the community
• Collaborate with healthcare specialists for optimized care
• Analyze nutrition needs for regional residents
• Promote healthy eating strategies within the community
Requirements:
• Dietetic Internship certificate is mandatory
• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr)) is essential
• Must be registered with Saskatchewan College of Dietitians
• Eligibility for Dietitians of Canada registration required
• Regional travel will be necessary
