We are looking for a Chief Pilotto lead our growing CAR 703 air taxi operation operating a fleet of five PA-31 aircraft. Our operation includes scheduled service and charter flying throughout Eastern Canada and the United States. This is a hands‐on position suited for an individual with solid work ethic, practical leadership skills, and an understanding of multi IFR commercial operations.
The Chief Pilot will work closely with the Operations Manager, Maintenance, Ops Centre, and company management to support safe, compliant, and efficient flight operations.
Responsibilities Supervise and mentor company pilots.
Maintain flight crew standards and operational discipline.
Oversee training, line indoctrination, recurrent training, and pilot competency.
Support scheduled and charter operations across Eastern Canada and the United States.
Assist with SOP's, training material, operational procedures, and standardization.
Work with Maintenance regarding aircraft serviceability, deferred defects, and operational limitations.
Support SMS reporting, occurrence review, corrective actions, and safety initiatives.
Represent the company with Transport Canada when required.
Requirements Valid Canadian ATPL.
Valid Group 1 Instrument Rating.
Valid Category 1 Medical.
Multi‐engine IFR command experience.
CAR 703, CAR 704, or similar commercial aviation experience.
Solid working knowledge of CARs, IFR procedures, SOPs, training requirements, and operational control.
Meet Transport Canada's requirements for 703 air taxi Chief Pilot.
Ability to travel and support operations in Northern Ontario, Southern Ontario, and the United States.
Preferred Experience PA‐31 experience.
Previous Chief Pilot, Assistant Chief Pilot, Training Captain, ACP, or senior Captain experience.
Scheduled, charter, passenger, cargo, northern, or cross‐border operational experience.
Experience mentoring pilots and supporting pilot progression.
We are looking for someone who is skilled, approachable, accountable, safety‐focused, and practical. The right candidate should be comfortable leading a small pilot group while remaining actively involved in day‐to‐day flight operations.
Compensation, schedule, base, and start date will be discussed with qualified candidates.
