• Provide direct wound and ostomy assessment and management
• Teach patients, families, and nursing staff regarding care practices
• Offer consultation and support to nursing colleagues, remotely or in-person




• Engage in clinical leadership on specialized care topics
• Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders for optimal results
Requirements:
• Certification as Nurse Specialized in Wound Ostomy & Continence
• Minimum 2 years’ nursing experience in a community setting
• Current membership with Specialized Nurses organization preferred
• International Interprofessional Wound Care Course considered
• Ability to perform direct patient care and consultations
