In this role, you will provide specialized nursing care to individuals with serious mental illnesses. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with an inter-professional team dedicated to mental health. The focus on trauma-informed care and patient-centered approaches will be vital in promoting optimal recovery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions in a safe workplace
• Evaluate and document patient progress regularly




• Lead and support team collaboration and decision-making
• Engage in stigma reduction efforts within mental health care
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• At least one year of relevant mental health nursing experience
• Current BCLS/HCP certification
• Completion of Gentle Persuasive Approach training preferred
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and crisis intervention
