We are recruiting for a
Project Manager/Estimator
to join our
Commercial, Institutional, and Residential (CIR)
Project Delivery group in Victoria focused on projects across the island.The
Project Manager/Estimator
is responsible for leading all aspects of the job. This includes estimating, project planning, labour management, procurement, billing, communications, and wrap up of each project.Your responsibilities
Work with clients and identify potential business opportunitiesEstimate projects and submit tendersReview contracts for onerous clauses and conditionsMaintain positive relationship with suppliers, consultants, general contractors and end usersManage project financials (including billing), purchasing, schedules and labourMitigate project risk, deficiencies and estimate changes as neededWork with internal stakeholders, field staff and customers, to ensure projects remain on track,



on budget and meet expectationsBe present on jobsites when required and review project upon completion to discuss success and challengesReview the project at completion with the supervisor and superintendent to discuss successes and challengesYour experience and skills
Electrical trade certificate, Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Technologist diploma/certificate3 years' experience in Electrical Project Management and/or EstimatingDemonstrated experience completing multiple projects from start-up to close outPrevious experience with estimating programs, specifically Accubid (Accubid Pro and Change Order) an assetStrong computer proficiency with MS Office, Procore, AutoCAD, Teams, etc.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to understand customer's needsStrong attention to detail and positive organizational skillsStrong communication, and team collaboration skillsSalary range: $85,000 - $120,000 per year
