Reporting to theManagerRegulatory CompliancetheInspectoris responsiblefordeliveringcompliance-focused regulatory assurance activities within the sectors regulated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). These include the Alcohol Lottery and You Will Do:Plan for and conduct risk-based outcomes-focused compliance activities such as inspections of AGCO regulated entities in several lines of business to validate compliance in operating procedures manuals and established best practices as well as with the applicable legislation standards rules terms conditions and/or other regulatory the AGCOs outcomes-focused approach in delivering services as required by the AGCOs mandate with knowledge of industry-specific practices and as a resource and provide information and education to stakeholders (internal and external)theirstaffcommunitystakeholdersthepublicandotherpartnerstopromote and enhance compliance and understanding of AGCO regulatoryobjectivesverbally and/or in writing and record in the form of handwritten notes a thorough and detailed account ofalldailyinspectionsandotheractivitiesinaccordancewithestablished policies and best ( reporting and maintenance travel expenses inventory control log etc.).Prepare inspection reports within the AGCOs internal system and escalate as per the established Have: Demonstrated experience in/and substantial knowledge of risk-based outcomes-focused law/regulatory enforcement and information-gathering experience conducting inspections and/or other compliance activities and providing excellent service to the report writing and organizational skills with the ability to successfully meet frequent deadlines.A proven ability to build relationships at all levels with internal and external ability to make sound decisions when faced with difficult/confrontational ability to give evidence at hearings and court ability to work independently and as part of a using word processing applications and MS Office software.A willingness to travel and work variable hours (including nights weekends and statutory holidays).Valid Ontario Class G Drivers Licence free of offences under the Highway Traffic to work independently and under pressure whilemaintaininga high volume of to work in Canada and the ability to successfully complete a criminal background to Have:Previousdelivery of stakeholder training will be an asset.
