Extendicare seeks a skilled Financial Analyst for its Capital Management team in Markham, Ontario. In this hybrid position, you’ll manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with accountability.

In the Senior Financial Analyst role, you will be vital in controlling capital accounting activities. This includes assisting with budget development, tracking project forecasts, and analyzing monthly financial performance. Collaborating with internal stakeholders, you will ensure capital process adherence and recommend improvements for efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the complete accounting cycle for capital investments
Analyze and provide insights on variances to forecasting
Conduct monthly capital review meetings with stakeholders
Champion best practices in capital management
Oversee timely asset recognition and depreciation

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
Minimum of 3 years finance-related experience
CPA certification desired
Proficient in Excel for large datasets
Experience with ERP systems, Workday preferred
