Davis-Standard seeks a Welder with expertise in MIG and TIG welding techniques. In this role, you will maintain a protected and productive workplace while executing high-quality welding projects.
Your responsibilities will include reading, interpreting, and executing welding blueprints and specifications, ensuring the integrity of metal assemblies. You will perform both tack and final welding and keep a close eye on quality assurance.
Your communication skills will be crucial as you liaise with Engineering and Production to resolve any discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret welding blueprints and process specifications
Conduct tack and final welding on metal components
Inspect welds for quality and compliance with standards
Safely operate lifting and welding equipment
Maintain inventory of welding materials and supplies
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Two years of welding/fabrication experience required
Ability to lift 23 kg (50 lbs) and work overtime
Familiarity with welding symbols and technical drawings
