Stantec is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Energy and Resources team. You will engage in structural design for mining infrastructure, collaborating with diverse teams on complex projects. Key Responsibilities:
Perform structural design and analysis for mining infrastructure
Develop designs using structural analysis software and hand calculations
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for project execution
Mentor EITs and less experienced designers in their growth opportunities
Conduct quality assurance and prepare project specifications
Requirements:
Registered Skilled Engineer with 12–15 years of experience
Proficiency in structural design codes and software (STAAD. Pro)
Excellent communication and time management skills
Field work experience in mining projects is preferred
Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
