As part of the Highland Valley Copper team, you will support all purchasing activities while reporting to the Purchasing General Supervisor. Candidates should possess a minimum of five years' experience in purchasing along with a solid understanding of supply chain practices.

This Buyer role will focus on creating purchase orders, maintaining relationships with suppliers, and managing inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:
Create and track purchase orders using ERP systems
Maintain optimal inventory levels in coordination with teams




Evaluate bids and analyze supplier quotes
Administer contracting processes for complex projects
Ensure adherence to purchasing guidelines and procedures

Requirements:
At least 5 years of purchasing experience preferred
Completion or enrollment in Supply Chain Management designation
Proficient in necessary software applications
Solid interpersonal and communication abilities
