Become a vital part of the Faculty of Trades & Technology as a Divisional Program Technician in Metal Trades. Support students and faculty through tool repairs, material preparation, and shop oversight.

This role focuses on assisting various trade programs with hands-on support. You will monitor student activities, maintain inventory, and ensure protected tool handling. Ideal candidates will have strong multitasking abilities and experience in a shop environment while adhering to WHMIS and WCB procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor student activities in the shop workplace
Repair tools and maintain necessary inventory
Prepare materials for hands-on learning
Ensure protected operation of machinery and tools
Help maintain forklift/shop vehicles as required

Requirements:
Minimum C Level Welding Ticket
Forklift certification and operation experience
Knowledge of WHMIS and WCB procedures
Demonstrated experience in a trades-focused shop
Strong communication skills in English
