About the Role

The Company is in search of an Assistant Vice President for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will be tasked with advancing the company's strategy in these areas, providing leadership for the innovation and commercialization ecosystem, and leading efforts in technology transfer and commercialization activities. This includes developing and implementing intellectual property strategies, overseeing invention disclosure, patenting, and licensing, and creating pathways for commercialization, particularly through venture creation. The role also involves developing a framework for entrepreneurship across the company,



supporting and scaling ventures, and leading institutional strategies to translate research into societal and economic impact.

Applicants for the Assistant Vice President position should hold an advanced degree and have a proven track record in strategic and operational leadership in innovation, entrepreneurship, and commercialization. A deep understanding of trends in these fields, particularly in a research-intensive higher education or industry context, is highly desirable. The role requires a candidate with exceptional interpersonal skills, administrative strength, and the ability to foster meaningful relationships and partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders.
