We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented CPA Accounting Manager to join our public practice team. The successful candidate will oversee engagement files, manage staff, and serve as a key point of contact for clients, while contributing to the firm’s growth and operational success.Key Responsibilities
Manage and review complex accounting engagements (compilations and review engagements)Liaise with the Canada Revenue Agency and other regulatory bodies on client mattersReview and finalize year-end files, working papers, and financial statementsAssign files to team members and monitor workflow, timelines, and budgetsMentor, coach, and develop staff;




conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedbackRespond to client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and skilled mannerEnsure deadlines are met during peak and non-peak periodsSupport Partners with client deliverables and firm initiativesIdentify opportunities for process improvement and efficiencyQualifications & Requirements
Minimum1year of experience as an accountingmanager in public practice in addition to 3 years experience as aSenior Staff Accountant in public practice required.Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax complianceExperience managing and reviewing compilation and review engagementsProven leadership and team management experienceStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and client service skillsAbility to manage multiple engagements and meet tight deadlinesProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)What We Offer
