We are seeking a talented Payroll Officer for a Provincial Government Agency in North York. This temporary, full-time role requires strong skills in Canadian payroll processing and compliance regulations.
Marberg is looking for two Payroll Officers to assist in full-cycle payroll operations until September 30, 2026. The successful candidates will ensure payroll accuracy, handle employee inquiries, and support payroll accounting functions. Proficiency in Dayforce (Ceridian) is preferred for managing high-volume payroll tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute full-cycle Canadian payroll accurately
• Validate payroll calculations and adjustments
• Respond to payroll inquiries and issues
• Manage Records of Employment (ROEs) issuance
• Support payroll reporting and reconciliations
Requirements:
• Education in Accounting, Payroll, Finance, or related area
• 3-5 years of experience in high-volume payroll
• Solid understanding of Canadian payroll legislation
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Ability to work fully onsite at North York office
