Jardeg is recruiting forCarpenter Apprentices for upcoming work at theCameco site near Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, the world's largest high-grade uranium mine and mill. The schedule for this position is 14 days on, 7 days off. This is a fly-in, fly-out position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with building forms for concrete
- Assist with forming and pouring concrete slabs, gradebeams and walls
- Assist with general layout
- Build and install scaffolding and workdecks
- Study blueprints for work planning
- Inform immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measures
- Maintain clean, organized work areas; remove debris and hazards; support end-of-shift cleanup
- Perform labourer duties when required
- Preference will be given to Registered Carpenter Apprentice from a recognized provincial training authority
- CSTS-2020 / SCOT
- WHMIS 2015
- Fall Protection is an asset
- Valid Driver's License
- Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
