Salary: $60,000 to $70,000, based on experience

We are recruiting a 3PL Freight Dispatcher on behalf of a growing transportation and logistics company in Halton Hills, Ontario.

The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated territory covering Eastern Canada and the United States, Western Canada and the United States, or domestic Canadian transportation.

Responsibilities

- Book and coordinate freight shipments within an assigned territory
- Source and develop relationships with trucking companies and carriers
- Negotiate competitive rates while maintaining service quality and margins
- Secure reliable carrier capacity for customer shipments
- Coordinate pickup and delivery requirements
- Monitor shipments and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams
- Respond to service issues, delays and customer concerns
- Maintain accurate shipment, carrier and pricing information
- Communicate consistently with carriers, customers and internal departments

Qualifications

- At least one year of 3PL dispatching, freight brokerage or transportation experience




- Experience coordinating freight across Canada or between Canada and the United States
- Robust carrier sourcing, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with Loadlink, Salesforce, Revenova or a similar platform is an asset

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary of $60,000 to $70,000, based on experience
