Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (Part time)-(Posting #53361)

Responds to emergency calls at the advanced level. It is the responsibility of this position to gather medical history and relay to doctor or hospital the extent of illness or injury; perform emergency medical care in accordance with established guidelines and written and verbal instructions from physicians, and transport persons to the appropriate medical facilities; and perform related tasks as required.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and completion of NC OEMS approved AEMT training program, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Possession of NC Advanced EMT credential. Obtain NIMS 100, 200, 700 and 800 certifications within six months of hire. Valid driver's license in the State of North Carolina. Please provide a photocopy of all certifications.

Compensation

The salary rate for this position is $24.22 per hour. The person selected for this part-time position may work up to 24 hours per week on an as-needed basis.
